  • Lean Manufacturing Consultant

    Description

    Will serve as a facilitator, consultant, trainer, and advisor to TAG clients throughout the U. S.  Will assist in advising and facilitating clients in implementing world-class lean organizations. Will oversee other TAG consultants and project managers in the field as needed, assist in lean assessments, prescribe solutions and processes for client implementation, and will speak at conventions and training seminars on world class lean subjects and technology. Must also develop new and value added services for manufacturing clients as part of TAG's Lean Enterprise Services and Kaizen Events. May also be required to facilitate reliability/maintenance Kaizen events. A minimum of 10 years experience in developing, implementing, and improving a manufacturing organization. Understanding of multiple industries, processes and equipment is vitally important as well as strong knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, SMED, 5S, other lean management tools and techniques. Relocation is not required; however, candidates should be open to travel.

    Requirements

    • Strong knowledge and implementation experience for Lean Enterprise and World Class Lean Programs
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Technical 4yr degree, preferably a BSIE or BSME
    • Desire Lean certification
    • Travel required

  • Electrical Engineer

    Description

    Will serve as a contractor, consultant and/or advisor to TAG clients throughout the U. S. 
    Will use sound problem solving abilities to solve client electrical related problems efficiently. Ideal candidate will have experience with contractual related project/work environment, in providing engineering support to electronic maintenance and modification systems, and in establishing processes/guidelines for electric design.
    Relocation is not required; however, candidates should be open to travel.

    Requirements

    • B.S. in electrical engineering or physics, or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of two years of experience in electronic design with electronic circuit technology assembly processes (analog, digital and/or high voltage design)
    • Experience in design, repair and analysis of electronic systems
    • Must have exposure to electrical engineering design principles and methodologies
    • Experience working with analog circuit simulation tools, i.e., PSPICE
    • Knowledge of CAD software (ProE or AutoCAD preferred)
    • Knowledge of PLC programming and/or troubleshooting a plus
    • Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques desired
    • Travel required

  • Industrial Engineer

    Description

    Will use sound problem solving abilities to solve client organizational, production, and related problems efficiently.  Must be able to complete time studies, analyze work standards, and complete assessments & feasibility studies.  Ideal candidates should have sound skills in developing management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost analysis, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality. Relocation is not required; however, candidates should be open to travel.

    Requirements

    • BS degree in Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Must possess the ability to communicate plans and information in a concise and effective manner, in both verbal and written form
    • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Maintenance Reliability Engineer

    Description

    Will serve as a maintenance improvement and maintenance reliability consultant and advisor to TAG manufacturing clients throughout the U.S.  Will assist other TAG consultants and maintenance associates in the field as needed, assist in maintenance assessments, prescribe solutions and processes for client implementation. Must also work to provide value added services for manufacturing clients as part of TAG's Lean Enterprise Services and Kaizen Events. May also be required to facilitate reliability/maintenance Kaizen events.

    Requirements

    • Must possess strong knowledge and implementation capabilities for Maintenance Reliability and associated tools for improvement, TPM, World Class Maintenance Programs, and Lean Enterprise
    • Understanding of multiple industries, processes and equipment is vitally important as well as strong knowledge of reliability maintenance programs, CMMS, FMEA's, Root Cause Analysis, Vibration Analysis, Thermography, TPM, and other maintenance management tools and techniques
    • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • 10 plus years experience in developing, implementing, and improving a manufacturing maintenance organization
    • Must possess technical four-year degree, preferably a BSME or BSEE, or equivalent experience
    • Maintenance certifications desired
    • Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques desired
    • Travel required

    Description

S.  Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls. In this role you will improve processes, resolve problems as well as manage projects.  Relocation is not required; however, candidates should be open to travel.

    Requirements

    • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
    • The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
    • Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment
    • Product development
    • Quality orientation and attention to detail
    • Problem analysis and problem resolution
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong team player

  • Mechanical Engineer

    Description

    Will serve as a project manager or in a contract engineer role to TAG clients throughout the U.S.   Performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives and involves conventional types of plans and specifications. Will be responsible for organizing highly complex activities for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering projects for TAG clients.  A minimum of 10 years experience in developing, implementing, and improving a manufacturing organization is needed.  An understanding of multiple industries, processes and equipment is vitally important. Relocation is not required; however, candidates should be open to travel.

    Requirements

    • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline; or equivalent work experience
    • 10+ years hands on experience with proven results in a manufacturing environment
    • Machine design, project management, and troubleshooting skills needed
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Prior project / contract experience is a plus
    • Kaizen and Lean manufacturing techniques preferred
    • Travel required

  • Quality Engineer

    Description

    Will serve in a contract quality engineer/project role to TAG manufacturing clients throughout the U.S.  Ideal candidates should have the ability to develop, apply and maintain quality requirements and standards for developing and manufacturing products.  A diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation is needed.  Relocation is not required; however, candidates should be open to travel.

    Requirements

    • BS degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 10 years hands-on Quality experience
    • Experience with ISO, QS, and TS  preferred
    • Experience with APQP, PPAP, OEE, and 8D a plus
    • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Certifications such as CQE a plus
    • Understanding of multiple industries, processes and equipment is vitally important
    • Prior Project / Contract experience a plus
    • Travel required
