TAG Design Services provides contract administration services to ensure your project conforms to the construction documents, to support the design intent, to lessen project risk, to identify and resolve construction problems early, and to supplement the client’s construction knowledge.

Expertise

Construction Procurement Services:

• Assist in obtaining either competitive bids or negotiated proposals by assembling and distributing drawing and specification bid documents on CD’s to prospective bidders list as furnished by client and/or recommended by TAG.
• Participation in pre-bid conference for prospective bidders.
• Prepare Addendums in responses to questions during bid phase from prospective bidders and provide clarifications and interpretations of the Bidding Documents to all prospective bidders.
• Assist, as directed by Client, in pre-bid and post-bid evaluation regarding proposed substitutions and design alternatives.
• Provide successful bidders with reproducible drawings and specifications.

Contract Administration:

• Project representation and architectural / engineering support for regulatory agency approval for scope of work.
• Assist in the pre-construction bid conference with Client and the contractors.
• Project representation and engineering support for submittal of building and site plan regulatory agency permits and approvals.
• Reviewing and certifying monthly applications for payment.
• Provide a monthly RFI (Request for Information) log to Client in respond to contractor’s request. If deemed appropriate, prepare, reproduce and distribute with “Bulletins” supplemental drawings and specification in response to requests.
• Provide support as directed by Client for Construction Change Directives.
• Shop drawing and product information review for compliance with contract documents. Provide monthly shop drawing and product information report to Client.
• Periodic job site inspections by architectural and engineering personnel to review compliance of construction with designs and specifications.
• Preparation of record drawings from information prepared by contractor’ red-lined field documents.
